What days are you open?

We are open for two-night minimums, Friday through Sunday nights. If your plans require different arrangements, please call us @ 914-205-3250.

When is check-in / check-out?

Check-in is between 2pm and 6pm. Check-out is 11am.
If other arrangements are necessary, please contact us first. You can use the Contact Us page, the Chat area (on the bottom right of every page) … or call us @ 914-205-3250.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Refunds in full up to 6 days in advance. After that, $35 cancellation fee plus one night’s bookings. If we can rebook the room, we will refund the one-night fee. The cut-off time is 6 pm of the cancellation day.

As an example: For a booking on Friday, the full refund cut-off would be 6 pm of the Saturday of that week.

Do you sell the delicious honey and maple syrup that you produce at the Lodge?

Yes. You can try some at breakfast and purchase bottles. We currently do not ship.

Is smoking permitted?

There is absolutely NO SOMKING permitted in the Lodge or on the premises.

What is your policy on pets and children?

Pets and children under six (6) are not allowed.

Is there a refrigerator for guests?

Yes. There is a large, shared refrigerator in the Patio Suite area. Any food forgotten when you leave will be eaten or discarded at our discretion. If they’re leftovers from any of the local eateries, we’ll most likely eat them.

Also, since the refrigerator is located in the area of the Patio Suite, please coordinate with those guests so as not to inconvenience them (we’re happy to help).

Are there any spaces that are out of bounds?

Yes. Your host’s living suite, the garage (except for entering and existing), the electrical closet, and the workshop.

Are there any outdoor areas that are off-limits to guests?

The Apiary (beehives) has an electric fence. You can get a closer look at the bees when accompanied by your hosts.

Also, there is a fire pit on the patio. It’s available to guests with permission from the hosts.

What if I come by train?

In the Bedford area (as in most of the Hudson Valley) everything is down the road a piece. There are local taxi services and Uber available.
More convenient, and cost effective is Enterprise Rent-A-Car. They’ll pick you up at the station when you arrive and drop you off at the end of your stay.

Is there wildlife on the property?

There are deer, wild turkey, hawks and more. The wildlife that can be found on the property are wary of humans. So, feel privileged if you see any.
